Non-Crop Layouts!!!

I am such a flake!!!....I did some scrappin' for some challenges posted at a crop on the Personal Scrapper website and I forgot to post them before the end of the crop!!!! Ohh well. I'll share them here. This is an Easter card I lifted from the Card Makers magazine. This is a Lift from the idea sheet in the Feb. 2010 PS kit....love these papers! ( Sorry about the reflection on the transparency, didn't notice til too late!) This was for an outside challenge.....The girls got a snowmobile/ sledding ride on their birthday with their cousin, Caitlyn and Uncle Rob. The snow totally disappeared that weekend.....which is a very good thing! Here is a lift from one of the PS challenges...I started scrapping some of our Belize pics....this is one of my favs....It is nice to have good friends! This pic is blurry cuz the waiter was trying to take them fast and moving the camera before it had even taken the picture....also it says 22 but really we have 2 people missing....I have to figure out how to photo shop them in since we didn't get a big pic of all of us together before the end was near! I promise I'll get them in though!

Belize 2010 - Chapter 1

Our story began 6:00 a.m. when we call the rest of our group and they say.."Our flights have been cancelled!!!" We thought they were kidding but nooooo. So the 4 of us get to the airport, check in, and our flight leaves on time. (We flew through Dallas and the other 8 couples flew through Atlanta.) We arrive in Belize on Sat. Feb. 13, 2010. I'm sure it will never be the same!!!!

The other couples caught a flight to Houston and then on Sunday flew to Belize. They arrived a day late but at least everyone arrived safely. (Cancelled flights, lost luggage, boat rides, puddle flights....etc...etc.) There were a total of 22 people in our total group!!!!!!
Stephen, Cory, Julie and I took a puddle jumper to the island of San Pedro where we made our home for the week. The first night was kinda crazy because we were all glad that we were there....the 3rd night we had some local ladies cook for us. The food was awesome!!!! Stephen liked the chicken type stew over coconut rice but my favorites (can't just have one!) were the fish w/ vegetables and the lime salsa!
After the ladies cooked for us, we went into town...picture this.....22 people on 4 golf carts!!!! We felt like Fred and Wilma Flintstone! Since it was Mardi Gras, the locals have a tradition of throwing paint to celebrate.....well we gave new meaning to "painting the town"! This picture was taken just as someone was throwing paint at our group....It was the most fun I have had in a very long time!!!!

We spent our days by the pool and one morning we all ( or most of us...) went snorkeling....we saw a sea turtle.....oodles of fish and we got to touch a nurse shark! (It felt like sand paper, which surprised me!)
These are just a FEW of the highlights......tune in for the next chapter soon!!!!
